1st October is over. omg. less than a month to go and i'm finally feeling the heat...I'm gonna try my best to fend off all the peer pressure tmr and well, hopefully my results wouldn't be TOO bad.. :/
but over the past few days, one question that really bothered me was not about what i'm gonna do in school, but rather what i want to do after i leave school. i've been considering all factors, like personality, my inner desires(not sure if i have any intense emotions at all), my hobbies, interests, aptitudes, my life goal(i'm still unsure of that one) and last of all, MONEYY. yeah yeah i know money isn't everything, but i don't really believe people can solely pursue their hobby and interest and not give a damn about money at all. At the end of the day, if you don't have the ability to give yrself a basic standard of living, you can't really truly enjoy your hobby either. But i guess it differs for different people.
I've been considering a degree in accountancy...the thing is, i don't really understand what it is all about. And also, i wanted to study medicine or psychology...the thing is, i'm not sure if i can commit to the long journey in medicine and i'm not sure if i can even earn a decent living as a psychiatrist or sth...not to forget that i need a MASTERS in psychology to become a practitioner. Dentistry is nice but boring(sry..i'm not trying to offend anyone but i don't wanna stare down people's throats all day long). So here i am. Lost and unsure of what to do. The most annoying thing is that it seems as if EVERYONE in raffles are sure of what they wanna do. I wonder if there's anyone who feels the same as me...:/
Sighz. Then one day when i was complaining to my mum about me being lost in deciding a career etc (my usual ranting..it's amazing how my mum can even understand anything that i said. lol.)...she told me that the reason i'm so lost is because i don't want a job, i want to have my own BUSINESS. And all of a sudden i was stumped. haha should have videoed my expression at that time (EPIC).
Well, it was only then that i felt somewhat 'enlightened'. But it's a difficult road as an entrepreneur and i don't know if i have what it takes to be one. Well, i guess i still have 8 more months to explore my options and trial and error. Right now, the most important thing is to just focus on my studies. FOCUS.
haha okay. i think i've enough of slacking for the day. Gotta go chiong my revision and rest well tonight to gear myself up for the battle tmr. All the best to all of you who actually read my posts! No matter what happens, you just need to remember that time heals all wounds and storms don't last forever. Perservere and you'll be able to enjoy the rainbow and clear skies later on.
Jiayou! Gambate~
